Hydro jetting
A cable machine punches a hole through a clog. Hydro jetting removes it. Pressurized water and a directional nozzle strip grease, soap scale, sludge and fine root hair off the full circumference of the pipe, restoring the line to something close to its original diameter.
That difference matters most on kitchen lines that have glazed over with grease, on restaurant grease lines, and on older clay or cast iron mains where roots keep finding the same joint. We camera the line first so jetting is the right call, and again afterward so you can see the result.
Our process
We camera the line to confirm material, locate the blockage and rule out a break that jetting would not fix.
One flat price for the jetting scope, approved before the equipment comes off the truck.
Nozzle selected for the pipe and the blockage, working the full length of the run rather than just the obstruction.
A second camera pass shows the cleaned pipe and flags any defect that needs a repair conversation.
Common questions
Not when the line is inspected first and the pressure is matched to the pipe. That is exactly why we camera before jetting — a cracked or badly deteriorated line needs repair, not jetting.
A snake opens a channel through the blockage; jetting washes the pipe wall clean. If a drain keeps re-clogging after being snaked, jetting is what breaks the cycle.
It clears root hair and restores flow well. Where a root has cracked the pipe, jetting buys time but the joint or section still needs repair, and the camera will show that clearly.
Most kitchens do well on a quarterly or semi-annual schedule. We set the interval based on what the first jetting reveals about your line.
Areas we serve
We work out of San Marcos and cover North County San Diego from there. Pick your city for the local details that change how this job goes.
Where mature landscaping sits over an older lateral, root hair tends to return until the line is fully scoured.
Kitchen line grease buildup is the most common reason for repeat backups we clear here.
Long lateral runs on larger lots hold debris that cabling alone tends to punch through.
In long-established neighborhoods and rental properties we often find heavy buildup in main lines.
Scaled cast iron mains, where we find them, benefit from jetting followed by a camera pass to confirm results.
Slope changes and older laterals near mature trees make jetting plus inspection worthwhile.
